Gulliver’s Land: The Best In The Trilogy?

Unbeknownst to many people, Buckinghamshire actually has its own theme park! This is a little known fact largely thanks to the popularity of many of the other theme parks in the UK being so popular. However, now that you have heard the name you may think that it sounds rather familiar. It should be because it is the final part in a theme park trilogy. First came Gulliver’s World, then Gulliver’s Kingdom, which is perhaps the most famous of the three, and now there is Gulliver’s Land.

Gulliver’s Land is located in Milton Keynes and opened in 1999. It is small in comparison to most other theme parks but it is much easier to get around and thus perfect for a family day out or even a visit with your partner, spouse or friends. It does have a focal point, which makes it even easier to negotiate your way between rides! Lilliput Land Castle is in the middle of the park and can be seen from just about anywhere.

You can choose to begin your journey around Gulliver’s Land in any one of the seven zones. Those zones are Toy Land, Adventure Land, Discovery Bay, Main Square, The Central Hub, Junior Discovery Cove and Lilliput Land. There is a great mix of rides for people of all ages so you can visit even if you have very small children with you. No matter what their age, Gulliver’s Land can entertain them for hours on end! The rides are incredibly safe and the park has one of the best safety records around, so you can choose from some of the most popular rides (including the Log Flume, Runaway Train, Python Roller Coaster and the Magical Journeys of Gulliver for example) with peace of mind.

There is also a fourth park that is right next door to Gulliver’s Land. Gulliver’s Eco-Park is an environmentally friendly theme park that gives you the same basic concept but in an entirely different way. It opened in 2007 and has proved just as popular. Whichever one you choose, you are in for a great day out!
