Buckinghamshire Goat Centre

Tap Into Your Animal Instinct At The Bucks Goat Centre

With wildlife parks galore in Buckinghamshire and the surrounding counties, you can see endangered and wild species from every corner of the earth. What happens if you just want to go and see a working farm with a few cows, sheep, pigs and goats? If you want to get a taste of a traditional English agricultural life then you could always go to the Bucks Goat Centre. It will provide you with a good day out for all the family.

The Bucks Goat Centre is actually a miniature zoo. It does not occupy the same space that other parks do in Buckinghamshire and the surrounding counties but it makes the best of the space it does have! There is a huge range of animals there, including donkeys, pigs, bird, llamas, reptiles, wallabies, peacocks, chickens, fish, guinea pigs and large spiders, amongst other species of animals of course. And then there are the goats! The Bucks Goat Centre has every species of domestic goat that happens to be found in Britain today, hence the name! This is what it is famous for, but the fun does not end at the range of goats or indeed animals in general for that matter.

The Bucks Goat Centre has only achieved zoo status in recent years, but it is well deserved considering that it has a wide range of animals and other activities that would normally be found at a zoo. There is a children’s play area for example, where your children can enjoy an hour or so playing so you can relax. There is also a toyshop and a picnic area so you can amuse your children and have lunch together as a family. In the afternoon, you can then handle the animals for yourself under expert supervision of course. If you do want to see the entire farm from a vehicle instead of on foot, you could take a tractor ride around, as long as the weather is fine. Regardless of the weather though Bucks Goat Centre provides a good day out for everyone concerned!
